Maybe there is on one in this world who doesn’t believe in kismet but for that single reason you can’t blame or over emphasize the issue of kismet. But the story of the film depicts little more.



Just like any other Bollywod flick, in this film also, Raj (Shahi Kapoor) and Priya (Vidya Balan) meet each other. But despite feeling love for each other the only thing they develop for each other is pure hatred.

But see the kismet connection hidden in such a chemistry which turns bad luck of Raj, who has been fighting for getting a better work for last five years in the field of Architecture, into a good one. Raj comes to his fortune teller Hassena Banu Jaan (Juhi Chawla) and describes everything to her.

Banu tells him that Priya is his lucky charm and for a better future he should always take her with him to wherever he goes for his job.

Raj agrees on it and takes Priya to a meeting with Batra & Gill, a company that wants to construct a shopping mall. But soon Raj comes to know that the proposed mall is going to be made by demolishing Priya’s community centre.

Priya helps Raj without having any idea about what’s going on. But as soon as Raj gets the project, the reality comes into open for Priya.

For the sake of love Raj proposes Gill (Om Puri) for building the combination of shopping mall and community center but Gill denies it.

At the end of the story Priya’s kismet helps Raj once again and Mr. Batra (Boman Irani), friend to Priya and partner of Batra & Gill, accepts Raj’s proposal of making the shopping mall beside the community centre.



Shahid must remember that audience’s expectation regarding his characters in films has touched the sky after the success of Jab We Met and he must accept films keeping that in mind only.

At the same time he must avoid playing the stereotype characters. On the other hand Vidya has tried her best to live the life of her character but unfortunately the character, especially her outfits, hasn’t suit her level best.

I guess she must not attempt this kind of characters. Juhi Chawla is excellent in the character of Hassena Bano but the lose bangle in her hand made audience think about possibilities that forced her wearing it.

Few scenes with Vidya made us realize like Juhi’s jewelries are put on Vidya. Om Puri and Boman Irani are good as usual. Himani Shivpuri proved with two scenes that character maybe small but it has to be strong. There is nothing to talk about other characters of the film.

Despite its length of 2 and half an hour, the film seemed longer and unusually slow. Aziz Mirza has chosen beautiful locations but he better has understood that beautiful locations cannot make beautiful films. Music and lyrics are not to the marks.



Expectations of watching a good film may drag a lot of audiences to the theatre but they better know in advance that the film has nothing extraordinary to offer the audience. People will surely fail to connect to the film, if not to the stars. - Rajnee Gupta

Shahid & Sania - Kismat Konnection ..??

Call it Kismat Konnection but Shahid Kapoor’s love life is once agian under the scanner. So, who’s the lucky girl? Is it Vidya Balan or Sania Mirza?

According to reports, Shahid and Sania are spending a lot of quality time. On Wednesday, the two were spotted remained together for nearly eight hours on the sets of director Vishal Bharadwaj’s Kaminay, which also stars Priyanka Chopra and Amol Gupte.

Though Sania didn’t arrive with Shahid, but once she dropped by, they were almost inseparable. What was surprising was their body language said it all. When Shahid was not facing the camera, he spent all his time with Sania. Sania spent a lot of time with Shahid in his vanity van as well.

But what about Vidya?

Talking to a tabloid Shahid says, “Vidya and I are good friends. Nothing beyond that. We shot Kismat Konnection for sixty days in Toronto. It’s the first time I have done such a long outdoor. We only had each other for company. Everybody had to get to know each other and become friends.”

I have had good friends in the past but probably because I was in a relationship, people never thought or spoke that way… probably because no one knows what is happening in my personal space and I have become very private because the last one year has been too in my face.”

So when will he tell the world about his lady love? “I don’t feel the need of screaming it out to the media,” Shahid retorts.

“I will tell friends who I feel answerable to, and people who are close to me, and the rest of the world will find out in due course of time because at the end of the day, I am a celebrity and I am not going to be sitting in my room all my life, with my girlfriend,” he quips.

I Love You Ranbir - Deepika

Deepika Padukone has finally come up with the confession about her over hyped love affair with boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. The lady admitted this on the talk show with Rakhi Sawant hosted by Zoom. Deepika was a guest at “The Rakhi Sawant Show”, where she was supposed to talk about her life, movie and other gup shup. But then, when Rakhi Sawant, in her typical characteristic ‘andaaz’, asked Deepika about her love for Ranbir, the actress turned pink and said that she so loves the actor alot!!!
Haven’t I started using a lot of hindi in my posts??? Man, this Rakhi Sawant is leaving a mark everywhere!!!!

Rosa was heart broken after been dumped by our hunky Saif. She started keeping a very low profile (obviously who won’t), but then again we saw Rosa attending fashion shows, events, premieres, and partying late at nights.

We thought she was quite strong to handle everything by herself. Lesser we knew someone else (who was very close to her) was also there to lighten her problems as well as give her the shoulder.

Yes, Rosa seems to have found solace in someone’s arms. Now who this someone is a mystery. The only thing known about him is the fact that he is not from Bollywood.

Through our sources we came to know that the lucky guy is someone named Chetan Gara. So when we asked about him from Rosa asking if she is in a relationship with him, Rosa’s voice deepened (as if she’s been caught). She said she is in a meeting (please note: she had told us that she is at home in the beginning of her conversation) and added that she can’t talk before hanging up.

Hmmm…We really wonder why is Rosa playing this game of hide and seek with us. She should learn something from Saif who openly told the world about his relationship with Kareena.

For the time been we would like to inform Rosa that playing hide and seek with us won’t matter much because sooner or later that person’s identity will be revealed (as it happens in the end of every game).

Salman Surprises Kat And Akshay

Whenever it seems that Bollywood’s bad boy Salman and gorgeous Katrina’s relationship is on the verge of a breakup there opens a new twist in their tale.

Everyone is aware of the kind of relationship Akshay Kumar and Sallu shares after Akki’s name was been linked with Kat baby.

But known to be an angry young man and possessive towards his girl friends, Salman has given a big surprise by inviting Akshay and Katrina together for his television show Dus Ka Dum.

It is not clear though whether he will have the time to take up Salman’s magnanimous offer, as he is likely to return abroad for a shoot immediately after his co-production releases in cinemas worldwide.

Furthermore, as Akshay is under contract with another channel for an on-air reality show, he may not be able to attend ‘Dus Ka Dum’.

Meanwhile, after the ugly incident at her b’day party, Katrina Kaif is still maintaining the silence and not ready to comment anything on war of Khans.

The media abroad often compares the two beauties India’s Aishwarya Rai and Hollywood’s Angelina Jolie. Aishwarya Rai is often considered the world’s most beautiful woman on par with Jolie.

Shahid & Vidya Are Apart Now..

Vidya Balan and Shahid Kapur, said to have enjoyed great rapport during the making of ‘Kismat Konnection’, are now not on talking terms.

Their friendship ended with the release of the film, which got a lukewarm response at the box office.

‘Vidya and Shahid have not talked to each other after wrapping up the shooting of the film,’ said a source close to the production team of the film.

‘They share a formal relationship and act more like colleagues in an office. The duo were seen at the premiere, but they were hardly talking to each other,’ added the source.

Shahid and Vidya’s pair was much appreciated by the whole team of the film.

Even director Aziz Mirza had commented about their pairing.

He said: ‘I think Shahid and Vidya make a perfect pair. They reciprocate to each other very well and I think they will form one of the best pairs of Bollywood in the future.’

If industry sources are to be believed, it is Shahid who has changed his attitude towards Vidya because he has found a new friend in tennis star Sania Mirza.

Unforgetable B’Day For Celina

Celina Jaitley plays one of the female leads in Ganesh Acharya’s Money Hai To Honey Hai co-starring Govinda, Aftab Shivdasani, Manoj Bajpai, Upen Patel, Hansika Motwani and Ravi Kishen.

But for MHTHH, the most likely prank victim was always Celina. She told us, “Working in the film was an experience of a life time for me as I had such wonderful co-stars who have their own distinct style of acting.

I made a lot of friends on sets. I was often the victim of their pranks. But there is one incident that I shall never ever forget. It was my birthday while we were shooting for the film.

I never felt so sad on any of my birthdays because on this particular birthday no one wished me from the morning to the evening. It would have been silly on my part to remind anyone about it.”

Salman & Shahrukh Fought In Katrina’s B”day Party

No one could anticipate that a star-studded birthday party of Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif would turn into a battle of the two Indian super stars - Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan - dividing the industry into two camps.

The two superstars were caught in a war of words on the July 16 party that Salman threw for current girlfriend Katrina, which later turned ugly.

Salman was reportedly instigating Shah Rukh from the beginning of the party by speaking about their reality shows - “Dus Ka Dum” and “Kya aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?” respectively. Salman claimed that his show “Dus Ka Dum” had garnered more TRPs than Shah Rukh’s, said sources.

Salman scoffed at Shah Rukh by saying that in spite of being a super star he could not make his show a hit.
